A trading desk, not a warehouse operation

Stator Aero trades CFM56 and LEAP used serviceable material from San Francisco, California. Narrow scope, direct dealing, and records reviewed before a quote goes out.

Why the name

A stator is the ring of fixed vanes between each rotating stage. The rotor throws the air; the stator holds still and straightens it so the next stage can do its work. It is the part that does not improvise.

Deliberately narrowTwo engine families instead of a thin catalogue across forty. It is the only way a small desk beats a large one on answer time and on knowing where material actually sits.
Direct dealingYou deal with the person who sources the material and signs the quote. No account tier, no queue, no handoff between a sales rep and someone who knows the stock.
Records firstDocumentation is reviewed before the offer goes out. Where the trace ends, the quote says so.
Two marketsCommercial aftermarket and defense supply off the same sourcing network, which is unusual at this size and is the reason the -7B work carries across both.

Where we came from

Stator Aero grew out of government contracting, supplying aviation and aerospace parts against DLA awards through DIBBS.

Government work is unforgiving about the things the commercial aftermarket also cares about. Packaging and marking are specified clause by clause. Documentation is inspected on receipt. A shipment that is right in every respect except the preservation level is still rejected.

That is the discipline we brought across. The quality manual was written before the first commercial sale, not after the first dispute.
